BattleTech Map 3025: the end of the Third Succession War
3025 is the classic year of BattleTech. The Third Succession War, begun in 2866, officially ends now, though small fights go on until the Fourth Succession War breaks out in 3028. For generations the Houses have fought mostly as raids by small units, with less and less technology left to fight with. The map opens on this year by default.
